The marriage of Miss Rosa Troutman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Troutman, of Boaz,
and Lloyd Dycus, formerly of Smithland, was quietly solemnized Friday evening,
June fifth, at six o'clock in the parsonage of the First Baptist church. The
Rev. George Heaton read the single ring ceremony before members of the immediate
family and close friends.
The only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. John Bougeno, the latter a sister of the
bride.
Mrs. Dycus wore blue lace with white accessories. She is a graduate of Boaz high
school.
Mr. Dycus is an employee of the International Shoe Company.
Following their marriage the couple left for Nashville, Tenn., and will be at
home at 220 North Eighth after June 10.
